Last Saturday a group of us joined together to pray for our world as part of Earth Hour. Although we can sometimes feel that our efforts are small, something like this reminds us that we are part of a huge community working for change.
‘Millions of people across 192 countries and territories stood in solidarity this #EarthHour in support of people and the planet – from landmarks switching off, to supporters switching off at home, as well as virtual concerts, mangrove planting, street clean-ups, virtual runs and more. We were joined by public figures and celebrities, such as António Guterres, Ellie Goulding, Iwan Rheon, Justin Trudeau, Claudia Bahamón, Gianella Neyra, Mr. Leo, Ben Pol, Liu Wen, Dilraba Dilmurat, Shruti Haasan and many more. Earth Hour showed that we can all play a part to shape a safer, fairer and more sustainable future for everyone on our planet, the one home we all share’ Earth Hour 2022
