• Accelerate smoothly and brake gradually
• Change gear as early as possible
• Plan ahead – anticipate when to slow down well in advance!
• Watch your speed – fuel economy is 10-15% better at 55mph instead of 65mph
• Avoid carrying unnecessary weight
• Keep tyres inflated properly
