Each week in August we are posting a prayer (taken from the book 'Praying for the Earth' by Rob Kelsey). We hope these will give us all a focus for our prayer and encouragement in the changes we are trying to make.
Dear Lord
Grant us wisdom and foresight in the face of global warming.
We pray for those affected by rising sea levels and extreme weather conditions.
Help us, in reducing our own carbon footprint,
to play our part in reducing our country’s carbon emissions.
Grant us the personal and political will to make a difference
