Simple Eco Swaps – Dental Floss
A few weeks ago we mentioned trying a more sustainable plastic free toothbrush. This week why not have a think about your dental floss? Traditional nylon or teflon dental floss often comes in a plastic container that is packaged in more plastic! There are also concerns about risks to wildlife from discarded floss.
There are lots of different products on the market that are plastic free and biodegradable. They often come in a refillable glass dispenser and can be made of silk or corn starch coated with wax. They may also have peppermint or charcoal added.
