Allendale Primary have managed to join a new Terracycle recycling stream. They are now able to collect any brand of plastic confectionary packaging including:
• All plastic chocolate and sweets pouches and bags
• All chocolate and sweets multipack outer plastic packaging
• Individual chocolate bar wrappers
• Plastic chocolate block wrappers
They do NOT accept:
• Breakfast, granola and energy bar wrappers
• Aluminium foil, cardboard or paper wrappers
• Metal tins and rigid plastic trays or tubs
• Quality street wrappers (these are biodegradable via home composting)

PLEASE REMEMBER WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT THE WASTE THAT IS DETAILED ON THE TERRACYCLE INFORMATION – WE CANNOT RECYCLE ALL PLASTIC PACKAGING!
