Here is a reminder of what you can and can’t recycle as part of the Terracycle Oral Care programme:
Do collect:
• Any plastic toothbrushes
• Any toothpaste tubes and caps
• Any plastic toothbrush outer packaging
• Any plastic toothbrush heads
• Any floss containers and outer packaging
• Any electric and battery toothbrush heads
• Any toothbrush cartons
Not accepted:
• Interdental brushes
• Dental floss string
• Mouthwash plastic bottles (unless from the brand ‘hello’)
• Denture adhesive or tablets packaging
• Toothpaste pumps
Please make sure any excess product is removed. If you rinse your product out please make sure it is dry.
Once collected the oral care products and packaging are separated by polymer type, cleaned, and made into plastic pellets to make new recycled products.
